Sunday 15th January 2012 10am - confirmed - the Gyros are en-route already.

 

An opportunity to take a 15 minute Trial Flight in one of the new breed of Section T type Certified Gyrocopters. We have invited Tony Unwin of Gyrate http://www.gyrate.co.nz and his team to NSAC for a “fly a gyro” day – come along and have a try one of these revolutionary aircraft.

 

The cost will be $50 for a flight with a Gyrocopter instructor from 10am onwards, then at 12:30 a free presentation on this fast-growing sector of aviation, followed by more flying in the afternoon. The Calidus was demonstrated at our NSAC open day on February 26th 2011 so you may have seen it.

 

In addition to two instructors giving trail flights on both the Calidus and the open-air MT03, there will be a few other Gyros and their pilots to talk to around from Tauranga for the day.
